Each year the City of Reno organizes a Buy Local effort to support local small businesses like yours. This year we're promoting Small Business Saturday on November 29 and encouraging citizens to buy local through the holiday season.
In an effort to raise awareness about where to buy local, we're creating a map of all the local small businesses in our community. Want to get your small business on the map? Fill out the form at reno.gov/localstores. The map will be published on November 26 at reno.gov/buylocal.
As a neighborhood champion of the Shop Small campaign, we have tote bags, welcome mats, pens, buttons, stickers and more for you to give to your customers. Here is a picture of the stuff you can use.
Your Buy Local Checklist:
1 Fill out the form at reno.gov/localstores.
2 Visit the 2nd floor at City Hall for some Shop Small swag.
3 Promote #buylocalreno on social media.
